COP29 | Logo Reveal
IDENTITY
We were tasked with animating a 60 second logo reveal in celebration of the upcoming COP29 session that will be hosted by Baku in Azerbaijan in November 2024.
The logo was designed to represent the buta motif, which has its roots in Azerbaijan’s history and culture. It brings together five different elements; flora and fauna, air and wind, water, energy and the universe.
Each buta leaf is revealed and brought to life through its own beautifully animated scene; taking influence from the location of the event, but also the interconnectedness between humanity and the environment, ecologically sensitive behaviour and results-oriented action.
The full animation was revealed via social media in anticipation of the work taking place ahead of the conference later this year.
